This is hopefully just helpful information about specific places to tailgate
NCAA parking lots:
Arkansas Razorbacks, Donald Reynold's Razorback Stadium, Fayetteville, AR There are several places to tailgate around the stadium. A lot of these require a contribution to the Razorback Foundation. Some of there are: 'The Pit', Broyles - Mathew's lot,
Arkansas Razorback, War Memorial Stadium, Little Rock, AR There are several 'Scholarship' Lots around the stadium that require a contribution to the Razorback Foundation.
NFL parking lots:
Dallas Cowboy, Texas Stadium, Irving, TX This is info on the old stadium. I will update this once we get down to Big 'D'. They open up the gates 4 hours prior to kick off. You will need a parking pass for each spot you occupy so if you have a trailer you will need two passes in any lot.
Blue Lot Lot #6 North side just East of pedistrian bridge is a great place to tailgate. There is always a large amount of people there and even several trailers. You have to get there early to get a good spot and if you have satellite don't park next to fence but I was able to get the signal on one row back. Go to Gate 1 (via HI 183 West from Dallas), because you can get in there before they open up the other gates, and go around the East side of the stadium and get as close as you can to the pedistrian bridge. There is an entrance gate just on the East side of where the pedistrian bridge goes into the stadium on ground level.
Red Lot South as close to pedistrian bridge as possible. You will have to enter the Red Lot via Loop 12. Get through gate and go South towards the stadium and the farther East the better, just not past walkway.
Indianapolis Colts, RCA Dome, Indianapolis, IN This is info on the old stadium. I will update this once we get back to Indy.
SW of dome there was a private lot that we parked in after going to the Michigan vs. Notre Dame game. The attendant was a big Fighting Irish fan and took great care of us.
Kansas City Chiefs, Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO Gates open 4 hours before game and you have to have a parking pass for each spot you occupy. Trailers are not allowed in the Red Parking Lot. If you do have a trailer you can enter the Red Lot then you have to park your trailer on the grass median. Even though you are not parking your trailer in a spot you will still have to have a pass for it.
Red Lot, I like coming in on the East side. It feels a little smaller on that side. The West side has a huge lot and just to the North there is a hill that gives you a great view of the stadium and all the tailgators.
St. Louis Rams, James Edward Dome, St. Louis, MO Stadium is downtown just on North side and a couple of blocks West of the Mississippi River. The surrounding area is very flat. Being downtown there is not a 'stadium' lot so you have to pay to park in private lots. There is more parking on the North side but we got there so early one day that we were actually parked too close to get satellite signal and had to move North one block.
Northwest of dome, under the highway and just East are several lots where we saw a lot of tailgaters all have a large time.
Tennessee Titans, LP Field, Nashville, TN Stadium is just East of Columbia River across from downtown and is fairly flat.. There are several bridges you can walk over if you park or are partying downtown.
Lot A is on the East side of stadium and a great location where a lot of tailgaters arrive early. With pulling a trailer, many lots require 1 pass for both, they do not and have a very relaxed attitude on tailgating. There is a convience store VERY close Southeast of stadium if you forgot something or if you need tickets this is a good spot to find a scalper.
Lot G is just to the North of the stadium and is easy to get to from the bridge that is on the North side of the stadium from downtown. It was late to fill up so you had your pick of spots if you get there early. Very flat and easy for people to find you.
Lot R is the RV lot and is just to the Southeast of the stadium.
